Shipping Information

Our current processing time varies throughout the year and will be posted in the top banner on the home page. This time does not include the shipping time(package in transit). Each order is handmade from start to finish once you place your order and we need this time to skillfully craft & prepare your order.

Shipping times are estimated, can not be guaranteed, as the USPS operates independently from Harbor Hound Co. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose. Please note, this time does not include production/lead time.

If you need your order to be expedited through the processing time(time I need to make your order), you can purchase the Rush My Order upgrade to get your order pushed up in the production line and then choose the appropriate shipping method at checkout for quicker transit time.

We ship worldwide via USPS mail but are currently unable to ship to the EU. First Class mail includes tracking information to addresses within the United States, Canada and select countries, but not insurance. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine if tracking information is available to their destination. If you would like to include insurance on your package, up to $100 value, we recommend upgrading to Priority mail. Priority Mail takes 1-3 days for domestic shipments and up to 10 business days to international addresses. Priority Mail is also used for domestic parcels over 1 pound, or for those that would like insurance included on their parcel. Insurance is through USPS, not Harbor Hound Co. Harbor Hound Co. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LOST IN THE MAIL. We also offer Route+ as an optional parcel insurance and is optional to purchase at checkout. Route+ is a separate company from Harbor Hound Co. If for any reason you do not receive your package AFTER it has shipped, you can file a claim with Route+ to recover or replace the package according to their policies.

- International Customers: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs. Duty fees are charged by the destination country and cannot be estimated or paid by Harbor Hound Co. If a delivery is refused/duties are unpaid and package is returned, incurred shipping expenses cannot be refunded. Everything is made to order so we will not refund for packages that are refused. In many cases where customs fees are due, the local post will leave a notice of where you can pick up your package. If you feel that your international package is delayed, please contact your local post office with your tracking number to request information. 

USPS Delivery:

If your order has not arrived within the estimated shipping time, please check the tracking information and confirm that your address is correct, next check for any service disruptions alerts for your region, you can call USPS with your tracking number at 1-800-275-8777 or go to your local post office with your tracking number to request this information. 

If tracking information indicates your package was delivered, but went missing, Harbor Hound Co. is not responsible for your package. Your local post office will be able to tell you where your package was scanned when delivered(via GPS). If you opted to use Priority shipping, please contact USPS to inquire about your insurance coverage. If for any reason a package is returned to us, we will send notification via email.
