Cotton Rope: Our cotton rope is American made, soft, flexible and plush. The perfect choice for walks, or for lounging around the house. Rope fibers are dyed by the manufacturer prior to being spun into rope and the colors will not fade, even through washes. The cotton fibers are delicate so they should be treated with care. We recommend removing cotton rope collars when your pup is not supervised. The Cotton Rope is made from a natural fiber therefore it is more delicate than synthetic material and it can stretch or be damaged with heavy pulling. We do not recommend this rope for heavy pullers.

Nantucket Rope(currently available in Natural Tan, Black, Navy, and Explorer Orange, Black with Reflective Tracer): Perfect for the the toughest, dirtiest adventures! The Nantucket rope is made from a soft synthetic fiber that resists color fade from water or UV, abrasion resistant, cleans easily and is super durable. When dirty, it just needs a quick hose down, apply soap for dirt and hang to dry. The rope is not waterproof but has higher rot resistance than Cotton Rope. Remove wet collars from your pet at the end of your day. Wet leashes or collars should be hung to dry, to avoid mildew or mold. This rope does not stretch from pulling and can hold up to heavy pulling.

Summit+Sea Waterproof Webbing: Finally a product for the ultimate "Adventure Hounds" that always find water holes, mud puddles, and maybe even smelly stuff to roll in. The durability and practicality of this line is superb. There is practically nothing the waterproof webbing can't stand up to. Functional, stylish, comfortable and dependable.

Hardware Options

Leash Snaps/Clips: There is NO fool-proof hardware. Through use, pet owners generally find the style that best works for them.

Lobster Snaps also known as Trigger Snaps are great for leashes that get drug through sand, salt water, dirt etc. as they do not clog as easily, however they would not be suitable for strong pullers or front attaching harnesses.  Bolt snaps are the strongest snaps and are best for pullers or reactive dogs, however the downfall is that the springs inside the snap that allows opening and closing, do get worn out, clogged and stuck over time or with the presence of sand and dirt.

• We offer our Rope Collections with Solid Brass Lobster style snaps or Nickel Plated Zinc lobster style snaps. Upgrades for Bolt style snap can be purchased in the upgrades section.

• We offer our Summit & Sea Collection leashes with large Solid Brass Trigger snaps or large Stainless Steel trigger snaps on the 1/2", 5/8" & 3/4" wide webbing leashes. Small Solid Brass Bolt snaps are available on the small 1/2" webbing leashes for small dogs. Upgrades to Solid Brass Bolt snaps can be made from the Upgrades page.
